I am proud to receive the 2023 Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America Gun Sense Candidate distinction. We need to keep students and families safe from gun violence, which sadly is all too common in our schools and communities these days. That’s why we fight for policies that are proven to reduce gun violence, protect children, and make our communities safer. This isn’t about “gun control.” It’s about preventing gun violence in all its forms, and encouraging gun safety and responsible gun ownership.
